Spiritual practice does not require an hour of silence you will never find. It asks for five honest minutes — a lit candle, three slow breaths, one card drawn and truly considered.
Build a morning altar
Clear one small surface: a cloth, a candle, one object that makes you feel held. Returning to the same spot each day teaches your nervous system that this corner means rest, and rest will start arriving faster.
End with gratitude, spoken aloud
Name one thing the day gave you before sleep — aloud, not just thought. Spoken thanks lands differently; it closes the day the way a reading closes a question, with the important part underlined.
